2023 Better Mobility Mayoral Forum

The 2023 Better Mobility Mayoral Forum is a moderated conversation that will give the Philadelphia mayoral candidates a chance to express their vision for making Philadelphia a more accessible, sustainable, and equitable city. The candidates will be asked a set of questions guided by the 2023 Better Mobility Platform, which is sent to them in advance. The platform includes the following recommendations:

• Reduce traffic deaths by half by 2027;
• Motivate 1 out of every 2 Philadelphians to bike, walk, or take public transit to work;
• Redesign and reimagine streets to prioritize human life, public health, and community;
• Provide every resident with access to safe streets and sidewalks for getting to work, to play and to enjoy Philadelphia and its great neighborhoods.
