Volunteer: Voter Registration at Welcome America Block Party

Saturday, October 19th
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: 5th Council Satellite Election Office, 2301 N. Broad Street

This fun event will include rodeo-theme games and pop ups like a mechanical bull, line dancing, corn hole, sack racing and more as well as prizes and pizza. There will be programming surrounding “Empowering Black Male Voters: Continuing the Conversation on Strategies for Effective Civic Engagement; Arts as Advocacy: The Role Artists in Shaping Public Opinion.” Guests will be encouraged to take civic action – including checking their voter registration, registering to vote, or making a plan to vote. We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to help staff the Committee of Seventy Voter Hub tent.
